6 cans minced clams
5 tbsp. flour

3 tbsp. butter
Salt to taste
Pepper to taste
Directions:
Thoroughly cook and then remove bacon from grease. Keep some grease to cover the bottom of  your skillet. Crumble bacon into crock-pot. Open cans of clams. Place clams in crock-pot with the bacon. You will need to save your clam juice! Set juice aside for now.In the skillet with the bacon grease, add chopped onion, celery, potatoes, and the SAVED clam juice.

Cook roughly 12 – 15 minutes on medium high heat.

Empty cooked items into your crock-pot. Make a paste of flour and some milk. Add to clam mixture along with half and half and the rest of the milk.

Finally, add butter, salt, and pepper to taste. (If desired, add hot sauce at this time).  Cook on high heat in crock-pot for 1 hour, or cook on low heat for 4 hours.
