The Tyler Public Library will host a flu shot clinic by Northeast Texas Public Health District (NETPHD) in the Taylor Auditorium on Thursday, Nov. 10 from 1 to 4 p.m.
They are the sugary coated marshmallows that appear every Easter on store shelves, I'm talking about Peeps! These litte ooey gooey bits of goodness that come in the shapes of chicks and bunnies and come in a variety of colors like pink, purple, green and white, to name a few, are the focal point of a new contest at the Tyler Public Library this spring.
I think just about everyone knows of or has read a Dr. Seuss book sometime. With so many books available it’s hard to pick out my favorite. So my list of top 3 favorites would include The Cat In The Hat, Green Eggs And Ham and How The Grinch Stole Christmas. Dr. Seuss’ creator, Theodore Geisel, would be celebrating his birthday next Friday (March 2nd), but he past away in 1991.
