The John Tyler Big Blue Band is gearing up for their March-A-Thon this Saturday and they could be coming to a neighborhood near you.

This Saturday John Tyler's marching band along with their parents will walk some neighborhoods in Tyler to raise funds for the John Tyler Big Blue Band. There are seeking the support of the community with this fundraiser to raise funds for various activities and supplies that the band will need for the 2016-2017 season.

The March-A-Thon will take place from 8am - 1pm and will follow the route listed below:

1st leg - Pine Brook Edition - Brazos/Trinity/Neches/Briarose/Sunnyhill*

2nd led - Westridge - Hwy 31 E & Loop 49

3rd leg - North Tyler Dogan Neighborhood - (Glass & Border)

4th leg - Bow and Ross street, cross over Palace and go to Border towards the Gentry/Citi Trends area ending at Mass Connections Barber shop on Bow street.

There are three different sponsorship levels:

Blue - 3 songs @ residence or business $100

White - 2 songs @ residence or business $75

Black - 1 song @ residence or business $50
