To celebrate spring in East Texas, the Tyler Parks and Recreation Department announces the return of the 'Movies In The Park' series at Bergfeld Park in Tyler. Opening the series will be the movie "Max", telling the story of a military dog from Afghanistan who is adopted by his late handler’s grieving family in the United States. His bond with the soldier’s younger brother leads to life changing revelations in this family friendly adventure. This film is rated PG. It'll hit the big screen in the amphitheater at Bergfeld Park on Saturday, April 16th at 8 p.m. All movies are free and soft drinks will be provided.

Bring your blanket, lawn chairs some snacks and the family and get ready for a great family experience outdoors at Bergfeld Park. In the case of inclement weather, the movie will go on but will be shown at the Glass Recreation Center as an alternate site at 501 W. 32nd St.
