Ahead of San Diego Comic-Con, we have our first bit of news about Warner Bros.’ Wonder Woman.

The studio revealed the film’s official synopsis in a press release on Monday, and even more revealing, finally decided who to credit for the film’s screenplay. Here’s the film’s official synopsis:

Wonder Woman hits movie theaters around the world next summer when Gal Gadot returns as the title character in the epic action adventure from director Patty Jenkins. Before she was Wonder Woman, she was Diana, princess of the Amazons, trained to be an unconquerable warrior. Raised on a sheltered island paradise, when an American pilot crashes on their shores and tells of a massive conflict raging in the outside world, Diana leaves her home, convinced she can stop the threat. Fighting alongside man in a war to end all wars, Diana will discover her full powers…and her true destiny.

Star Gal Gadot had previously described the solo movie as “pretty dark“ with some moments of humor. She warned DC fans that her Diana Prince will be much more naive and idealistic woman than the one we saw in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. We’ll hopefully learn more about the new movie when Gadot, Connie Nielsen, Chris Pine and director Patty Jenkins appear at the Warner Bros.’ panel at Comic-Con July 23.

The studio initially brought on five writers to give treatments to Wonder Woman, and until now Jason Fuches (Pan, Ice Age: Continental Drift) was believed to have penned the final script. The new press release reveals that Allan Heinberg and DC Comics Chief Creative Officer Geoff Johns are credited as the screenwriters on the Jenkins’ project.. Heinberg has previously produced and written for The O.C., Grey’s Anatomy, and Sex and the City, and this will be his first film credit.

Wonder Woman also stars Nielsen, Pine, Robin Wright, David Thewlis, Danny Huston,  Ewen Bremner, Lucy Davis, Elena Anaya and Said Taghmaoui. The film opens June 2, 2017.
