Willow Smith shows us why we are not worthy with her stellar performance on the 'The Queen Latifah Show' Monday (Sept. 16). We jest, of course, but the daughter of Will and Jada Pinkett Smith did display excellent vocal chops on La's show.

The young entertainer performed 'Summer Fling' with her band the Melodic Chaotic for the first time on network television. With her collaborative partner DJ "MVSIC" Fabrega by her side, the 12-year-old prodigy cooed a melodic ditty about a romance that was all too brief.

“Just for clarity, the word fling means something that’s short-lived,” said Willow in a British accent. "And this song is dedicated to all the kids around the world whose summer is never long enough.”

The original video for the song was deemed somewhat controversial because of its adult themes when it was released in July. On the 'Queen Latifah Show,' however, Willow captured the song's innocence with her orchestral take on the ballad.

We also couldn't help but notice Willow's fashion sense as she wore black fringed shorts, a matching tuxedo jacket and a T-shirt with a jazz artist on it.

Hey Rihanna, meet your successor!
