Here we are again, another Friday the 13th. Do you consider today to be unlucky? A lot of people do.According to the video above, the origin of the superstition is unclear, but the number 13 is still feared by some. Taylor Swift is a popular exception. She loves the number 13, and was born on Dec. 13, 1989.

The video also claims that in numerology, the study of numbers, that 12 represents completion. This leads 13 to be found out of place. I have read disputed information from notable numerologist, Glynis McCants that claims in the study of numbers that 13, truly breaks down to the number 4 and is a grounded number seeking security.

Wikipedia, claims that the origin began with the Last Supper.

The superstition surrounding this day may have arisen in the Middle Ages, "originating from the story of Jesus' last supper and crucifixion" in which there were 13 individuals present in the Upper Room on the 13th of Nisan Maundy Thursday, the night before his death on Good Friday. While there is evidence of both Friday and the number 13 being considered unlucky, there is no record of the two items being referred to as especially unlucky in conjunction before the 19th century.
