Whitehouse Faces Mesquite Poteet Friday in Third Round — Listen Live on Hot 107.3 Jamz

Whitehouse is still alive and undefeated through two rounds of the playoffs. This week, the Wildcats are a win away from the school's first-ever trip to the regional finals of the football playoffs.

A week after beating Arlington Seguin in overtime, Whitehouse took down Sulphur Springs for the second time this season, 38-14, in the area round of the Class 4A Division II playoffs last Friday night.

Whitehouse (12-0) moves on to face Mesquite Poteet (11-1) at 1 p.m. Friday at Eagle Stadium in Allen in the regional semifinals.

Poteet, whose only loss came to Highland Park in non-district play, is coming off a 42-7 win over Dallas Woodrow Wilson in the second round.
