Tyler's 'Movies In The Park' series returns with some must see family movies at Tyler's Bergfeld Park.

The weather will be changing and soon making it more cooler and enjoyable to be outdoors! With falls arrival right around the corner Tyler Parks and Recreation Department invites you and the family out to Berfeld Park this fall to see some movies for free underneath the stars at the amphitheater. This years' line up feature some awesome family block busters.

Here's whats planned for this season:

  • Saturday, September 21st - "Secret Life Of Pets 2"
  • Saturday, September 28th - "Aladdin"
  • Friday, October 4th - "The Parent Trap"
  • Saturday, October 19th - "Rebecca"

Opening the season (Saturday, September 21st at 8 p.m.) will be one of this year's best animated movies "Secret Life Of Pets 2". Max and his pet friends explore the idyllic farm they now call home once their owner is absent. Hilarious circumstances ensue as the formerly urban denizens acquaint themselves with their new pastoral neighbors. Animated. Rated PG.

The following week, Saturday, September 28th at 8 p.m., will be this years' live action "Aladdin". A street rat pursues the princess of Agrabah with the help of a powerful genie who can grant him three wishes. His primary opponent is a malevolent sorcerer who serves as the city's grand vizier and the chief advisor to the Sultan. Live-action. Rated PG.

On Friday, October 4th at 8 p.m., see "The Parent Trap". (1961) Identical twins change places to reunite their divorced parents after they meet at summer camp for the first time and discover they were separated at an early age. Hayley Mills plays twins Susan and Sharon. Rated G. This movie was rescheduled from the spring due to being rained out.

Wrapping up the season on Saturday, October 19th at 7 p.m. will be "Rebecca". This is a date night movie! Starring Laurence Olivier, Joan Fontaine. Alfred Hitchcock at his best with a story of a marriage that is haunted by the aura of the husband's dead first wife. Not rated

Free concessions will be available, but limited. Bring the family and have a seat in the amphitheater or bring along a blanket, lawn chairs and your own picnic and enjoy the free show at 'Movies In The Park' in Bergfeld Park this fall!
