According to reports, playwright turned mega movie mogul, Tyler Perry has been slapped with a nasty lawsuit over his latest film, Temptation: Confessions of a Marriage Counselor. The suit comes from a man from Gary, Indiana that is claiming that Perry stole the plot and overall idea from a screenplay he wrote back in 2009.William James claims in the lawsuit that he wrote the screenplay back in 2009 called 'Lovers Kill' that had the exact same plot and conclusion as Tyler Perry's film, Temptation.

James also claims to have given a copy of the screenplay to an associate of Oprah Winfrey's to get to Tyler Perry -- and if James is in fact telling the truth, his wish did come true.

Tyler Perry's Temptation starring Jurnee Smollett-Bell and Lance Gross, didn't get the greatest box-office reviews, but earned an impressive $49 million.

No word from Perry's camp or Lionsgate studios on the accusation.
