Trevin Hunte continued to shine on ‘The Voice’ tonight (Nov. 12) by delivering a show-stopping version of ‘When a Man Loves a Woman’ by Percy Sledge. Over the course of the show, the once bashful 18-year-old has found not only his voice, but his confidence. “I’m so excited that America decided to keep me and I’m ready to win this thing!" he exclaimed.

Sadly, Hunte’s family fell victim to Hurricane Sandy, but the recent devastation has only given him an even greater incentive to succeed and help replace everything they lost. “I just want this performance to be one of my best performances … hopefully my emotions shine through.”

His stunning, soulful performance earned him a standing ovation from all of the judges and booming applause from the audience.

“You have a gift from God; I’ve never heard anything like it,” Adam Levine began. “You have this magical ability to just bring down this house every time you get up here…and you should always have that confidence, in life beyond ‘The Voice.’”

“For the first time, you did everything I wanted you to do,” Blake Shelton added with a smile. “We always felt like you were holding back … but you didn’t leave anything behind but blood and guts tonight.”

Christina Aguilera stated, “Thank you for doing that – you brought it home for me …You also found a cool raspy tone to your voice … I still wish I was your coach, I really do.”

But the most moving and heartfelt praise of all came from his coach. “First of all, the miracle of you is strengthening my faith … I believe you’re gonna be a blessing in so many lives,” Cee Lo Green insisted. “I can’t sing like you … you encourage me in such a profound way. Your talent is immense, it’s extraordinary. You’re a natural-born champion, Trevin.”
