Today’s Pearls of Wisdom

Mistakes are a very important part of your journey. So, live right on through your mistakes and keep moving toward your destiny.

When I was younger, I'd make mistakes and think I was just the worst person in the world. Depending on the severity of the mistake, I'd feel like it was the end of the world.  As I matured and learned more about myself and life in general, I realize how critical mistakes are to my destiny. I stopped viewing my mistakes as the end of the world, and started seeing them as the end of the road.... the road I didn't need to continue traveling down.  Mistakes are nothing more than life lessons that make us better... IF we choose to turn in a different direction and keep traveling. Mistakes only become the end of the world when we stop moving forward because we have given up or chosen to keep bumping our heads against the big yellow "End of Road" sign.

Today, I am not proud of my mistakes, but I am beyond grateful for my life lessons
