Sex appeal, class, and a voice that made birds cry. Stephanie Mills was an unstoppable force in the R&B world. This 1989 hit was a lovers' theme, so to speak. She was first discovered on the popular show, "Showtime At The Apollo" and producers and record execs took notice after she won six times on ameature night! Her career really took off  when she originally played Dorothy in "The Wiz", where she actually started dating the late Michael Jackson.
