Throwback – Minnie Riperton “Lovin You”

Who can forget this ultimate classic! Soul sensation, Minnie Riperton had a five and a half vocal octive range which she proudly displayed in her music. Minnie was married to producer Richard Rudolph in 1972. They had two children. Tragically, Minnie was diagnosed with breast cancer and passed away in 1979 at the early age of 31. Her music lives on in infamy. We have the video of her performing live on Soul Train. Enjoy!
