This Mom Of Four Blames Appearence On Domestic Abuse

This woman claims to be a normal mother who loves to creatively express herself.

She's known as “Vampire Woman”. Her name is Maria Jose Cristerna, and she has tattoos, implanted horns, and piercings without any anesthesia. Her shocking appearance were made noticeable when she appeared to audiences at a tattoo exhibition in Monterrey, Mexico, this week.

The 35-year-old mother of four, claims to live a “normal” life, but recounts a horrific history of domestic violence which triggered her to reinvent herself into a “vampire” and tattoo nearly 100 percent of her body!

“My family was and is deeply Catholic,” she says.

“I studied at a religious school, I fell in love, got married in white at 17, followed a career. I wanted to make things right.”

Ms Cristerna sees her “horns” as a symbol of strength — and plans to have two more added to the back of her head.

“They were implanted without anaesthetic,” she said.

“I had the fangs done because I loved vampires as a little girl and I changed the colour of my eyes so they were how I really wanted them to be.

“Tattooing is my way of being immortal, of really being a vampire and not dying — leaving my work on other people’s skin.”
