This week is almost over, and the long awaited weekend is finally here. There is a TON going on this weekend and most, but not all, have to do with the fact that it is Halloween weekend. Whether you're looking for a spooky way to spend your weekend, or something to do that has nothing to do with Halloween whatsoever, we've got something on this list for you.

Spookzilla
Spookzilla 2011- East Texas' first grown up Halloween party on Saturday, October 29 from 7 pm to midnight. It's going down inside the party room at XTC Fitness and Sports. "GROUP THERAPY" will be rocking the house with your favorite dance music from the 70’S, 80’S, 90’S and today. Bust a move on the huge dance floor and enjoy food and drinks. Come dressed to kill in your best costume for the costume contest and try to win a trip for two to Vegas!

"Godspell" At TJC
If you want to do something that has nothing to do with Halloween, but you want to be entertained- this is it. The TJC Theater department is putting on their rendition of 'Godspell'. Loosely based on the gospels of Matthew and Luke, 'Godspell' was one of the most popular 20th-century rock musicals.Regular shows are 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday, Oct. 28 and 29, in Jean Browne Theatre. Complimentary tickets will be available on a first-come, first-served basis at the Theatre TJC Box Office from 1 to 5 p.m. Wednesday-Friday, October 26-28, or at the door prior to the performance.

Haunted Houses
It's Halloween time, and that means it's time to get the mess scared out of you. The best way to do that is to head over to one of the local haunted houses. There are a ton around here, and we put together a list of the ones we think we will be the scariest haunted houses this Halloween season.

Lonestar Gun Show
For the men who want to get out and get away from their nagging wives and children- this is for you. The Lonestar Gun Show is coming to the Harvey Hall Convention Center this Saturday and Sunday. Bring in your old gun and trade Up for the gun you've always wanted. Look at all kinds of merchandise from New and used guns, knives, swords, hunting gear and a whole lot more. It runs on Saturday from 9 am-5 pm, and Sunday from 10 am-4 pm. Adults are $7, while 12 and under get in free.

Meet Snoopy, pick your own pumpkin, visit trick or treat street & more on the Great Pumpkin Patch Express at the Texas State Railroad! The last day to catch a ride on this adventure is this Saturday, October 29.
