Texas Woman Scams Sonic out of $10,000 over Raw Beef

You don't want beef with this woman! A Texas woman has been arrested and charged in an insurance scam involving raw beef! Cassandra Brooks, who formerly worked as a lieutenant with the Texas Department of Criminal Justice, scammed Sonic out of $10,000! She's been charged with insurance fraud, according to EastTexasMatters.com. She could have to serve up to 10 years in prison, if she gets convicted! She claimed at a Lake Charles, Louisiana served her raw beef in 2018. She made the same claim at a Sonic just outside of Houston a month later!
