Texas Retiree Plans To Spend His Golden Years At Multiple Holiday Inns

As we think about retirement as we get older on thing that isn't so exciting is moving into a retirement home.

So to change the status quo a Texas man is making plans on living his "golden years" at multiple Holiday Inn locations.

According to USA Today, Terry Robinson talked about his retirement plans on his Facebook page giving good points by stating he can get better service, save money, and see the world.

He pointed out the average nursing home will cost nearly $188 per day, while making a reservation at the hotel will cost about $59 per night with a long term stay and senior discounts.

$5-worth of tips a day and you'll have the entire staff scrambling to help you.  They treat you like a customer, not a patient.

He also noted that breakfast would be free and happy hour would leave $128.77 a day for food and entertainment and not to mention the amenities offered at the hotel.
