Tampa Bay’s Dashon Goldson Supsended for One Game for Helmet-to-Helmet Hit
Dashon Goldson has a reputation for being a hard-hitting safety. After a stint with the NFC-champoin San Francisco 49ers, he's already facing trouble.
Goldson, in his second game with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, has been suspended for a helmet-to-helmet hit on New Orleans Saints running back Darren Sproles. The league office suspended Goldson for one game a week after he was hit with a $30,000 fine for a hit on a defenseless player in the Bucs' loss to the New York Jets in Week 1.
Goldson has been hit with $336,000 worth of fines and suspensions by the NFL since 2010. It seems like these players love to make donations to the league office every chance they get.
