So I am back on the dating scene now. I've been divorced now for about 2 years and have been convinced by my friends to "try something new". So I did.

Being a single mother of two is beautiful thing, but it can get tricky when you work some of the hours that I work. My kids don't complain about me not spending enough time with them, they complain that we spend too much time together at my job.

Today, Hot 107.3 Jamz and Jarvis Christian College partnered for the first Jarvis Christian College Bark-A-Thon. The Bark-A-Thon is a tele/radio-thon to help Jarvis Christan College raise funds for students that attend the school, the school mascot in a bulldog. Most students that attend Historically Black Colleges and Universities receive funding via the United Negro College Fund.

So recently one of my friends was wondering if I was acting funny with her because I wasn't responding to her text messages. I explained to her that I was not receiving them. Then I got some not so happy phone calls from others saying they were trying to reach out too. Then I realized the culprit was my iPhone.

So Monday we talked about starting fitness classes and hiding in the back of the class. Welp, I got my first class in and I am happy to say that I did NOT hide in the back!
