It happened during a game last Thursday near Amarillo. Chris Leanos left the field under his own power, but collapsed on the sideline and ended up in a coma at the hospital.

The weather is turning much more favorable for East Texas outdoor activities!

The Gladewater Bears head into the Battle On The Border Friday night looking awesome thanks to their huge win over the Pittsburg Pirates last Friday night.

The practices began in the middle of August when it was one hundred degrees preparing for games with one goal in mind - the state championship title game!  A couple of East Texas teams have reached that goal and are one win away from gaining that title.  The Daingerfield Tigers and Gilmer Buckeyes are playing in their final games today at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington.

Round three of the high school football playoffs happened last weekend and quite a few East Texas teams survived and are moving one step closer to playing in Cowboys Stadium in Arlington for the state titles. Currently East Texas has 12 teams still in the playoffs.
