Influential rapper Heavy D died yesterday at the age of 44. According to reports, the rapper was climbing stairs at his condominium when he experienced trouble breathing. He was immediately rushed to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center where he was pronounced dead 90 minutes later. Cause of death is pending an autopsy.

The rapper we all know and love, Heavy D, born Dwight Arrington Myers, passed away yesterday at Cedars Sinai hospital in Los Angeles. Reports say that the rap star, 44, was found in front of his Beverly Hills residence awake and alert after a call was made to 911 of a man passed out on the walkway.

Rapper/actor/producer Heavy D known for many hits of the 90's passed away at an LA hospital today. Sources say a 911 call was made to authorities about an unconscious male on a walkway. When authorities arrived at the Beverly Hills home, the male described on the call was rapper Heavy D.
