Many questions linger with the New York Knicks, who missed this year's NBA playoffs.

TNT analyst and former NBA sharpshooter Steve Kerr is believed by many to be the leading candidate, but there is one problem -- Mike Woodson is still the coach.

In a report from The New York Times, Kerr was quoted as saying, "If they offer me the job, I would take it."

Of course Kerr played under Knicks President Phil Jackson in Chicago and understands the triangle offense that helped Jackson win with the Bulls and Lakers.

Kerr has no coaching experience, but was the General Manager of the Phoenix Suns from 2007-2010.
