Starz 'Power' To End After 6 Seasons With Possible Spin Offs

All good things must come to an end and yesterday (May 9th) Starz announced their hit TV show Power will be coming to an end after 6 seasons.

According to CNN, the president of programming at Starz Camri Zlotnik released a statement on the show ending.

Season 6 brings us to the end of what we know is just the first chapter of the ‘Power’ story. However, as one chapter comes to an end, another will begin. Courtney Kemp and 50 Cent have created a world rich with complex and dynamic characters and there are a number of stories we plan to tell as we continue to explore and expand the ‘Power’ universe.

Now if you're wondering about possible spinoffs writers are already working on at least one new series to keep us wanting more of what happens next for Ghost and the gang per Deadline and 50 Cent even spoke on the show coming to an end.

The last 5 seasons of ‘Power’ have been an incredible ride for me and all of our supportive fans. We are far from over and I am excited to bring you more from the ‘Power’ brand.

I'll say this because of how Season 5 ended all bets are off and just about ANYTHING can happen so I'll be front and center for the conclusion of one of my favorite shows.

Power Season 6 premiers on Starz August 15th with 15-episodes.
