Yesterday, Good Morning America's Robin Roberts addressed her sexuality on Facebook. She came out of the closet by thanking her longtime girlfriend and partner, Amber Laign, for being there for her.

The 53-year-old anchor's family, friends and co-workers already knew of Robin's 10-year relationship and are all very supportive and happy for the couple. Yesterday was a milestone for Robin, being the 100th day since she had to have a procedure to treat a rare blood disorder. The procedure was extremely risky because in 2007 she was diagnosed with breast cancer and after treatment she went into remission.

Robin also expressed thanks to her sister, who was her donor. The post received 20,000 likes after she opened us to the entire world. GMA issued a statements saying:

"We love Robin and Amber, who we have all known for a long time. We were so touched by her Facebook message today and so thankful for all the loving support she has in her life."
