Shining bright like a diamond has gotten Rihanna in trouble. The R&B superstar reportedly was slapped with a cease-and-desist letter by Coronet Diamonds after the singer posted an image created by them on her social media accounts.

On Veteran's Day (Nov. 11), the jewelry company posted the image of a diamond necklace with the letter 'V' surrounding it. Apparently, RiRi love the photo so much that she posted the same image onto her Twitter and Instagram accounts with an inserted picture of herself and the company's hashtag deleted.

As for now, Coronet Diamonds is asking for Rihanna to post an apology for the "visual plagiarism" on all her social media accounts.

Being that the 'Stay' singer has over 50 million followers altogether on Twitter and Instagram we would say that Coronet Diamonds won either way this goes.

What do you think? Do you think Rihanna should apologize or is Coronet Diamonds blowing this way out of proportion? Tell us in the comments below.
