Singer Raphael Saadiq is hitting the road this summer for his first headlining tour in several years.

The former Tony! Toni! Toné! member is launching his seven-date trek in July. The tour will kick off on July 20 at the historic concert hall First Avenue in Minneapolis and includes stops in Chicago, Detroit, Philadelphia, New York and Boston. The jaunt wraps up on July 27 at the Kennedy Center in Washington D.C. Tickets go on sale Friday (May 4) at 10 AM ET.

Interestingly, Saadiq’s tour is dubbed “Ray Ray Vs. Charlie Ray,” which are a nod to his 2004 album (Ray Ray) and his 2002 beloved single (“Charlie Ray”) from his album Instant Vintage.

Saadiq is currently working on his fifth solo album, which will be his first music project since 2011's Stone Rollin'. In the past year, the 51-year-old producer has worked with esteemed artists like Rick Ross, Justin Timberlake and Little Dragon as well as executive produced Solange’s Grammy-nominated album, A Seat at the Table.

Saadiq has also nabbed his first Academy Award and Golden Globe nominations for co-writing the song “Mighty River” from Mudbound with Mary J. Blige and Taura Stinson.
