Although he wasn't on the Coachella bill, R. Kelly made a surprise appearance during Phoenix's headlining set on Saturday (April 13) in Indio, Calif. The R&B mack performed a mash-up of 'Ignition (Remix)' with the band's song, '1901.'

Wearing a gold-encrusted white baseball cap, Kels led the crowd into a unified "toot, toot" and "beep, beep" while he sang his 2003 chart-topper. The Chicago singer kept the mash-up love going with a rendition of 'I'm a Flirt' and Phoenix's new single 'Chloroform' from their upcoming album 'Bankrupt!'

Elsewhere, R. Kelly ran into his biggest fan at Coachella -- Tyler, the Creator. The Odd Future leader was able to get a quick picture with him and he posted it on Instagram. "HE SAID HE F---S WITH ME AHHHH," he tweeted.

Can we expect a 'Best of Both Worlds' album featuring these two artists? Nah, we don't think so.
