Queen Latifah to Receive Icon Award at Diddy’s Revolt Music Conference

Queen Latifah will receive the Icon Award at Diddy's Revolt Music Conference.

The fourth annual Revolt conference will take place in October in Miami, where Lauryn Hill and 2 Chainz will perform. Latifah will be honored for her accomplishments in film, music, and television. She's close to achieving EGOT status—she's won an Emmy, Golden Globe and Grammy Award.

SZA and Daniel Caesar will also perform at the at the Oct. 14 gala honoring Latifah. 2 Chainz will perform with special guests on Oct. 13, while French Montana and King Combs, Diddy's son, will kick off the conference with performances on Oct. 12.

As for Latifah, she's been busy this year, per usual, starring in the hit film Girls Trip and also prepping to star alongside Jill Scott in a Lifetime movie about the Flint water crisis, called Flint.

The four-day Revolt conference where Latifah will be honored will also feature panels and speakers and will be held at the Eden Roc Miami Beach Resort.
