Just days after Prince's untimely death, fans are remembering the artist through his music.

According to Billboard, Prince’s greatest-hits collection, The Very Best of Prince, is on track to debut at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart next week.

If Very Best Of reaches No. 1 it will mark his fifth No. 1 album of his career and his first since 2006’s 3121. Unfortunately, this chart feat will happen posthumously.

According to insiders, The Very Best of Prince could earn more than 150,000 equivalent album units in the week ending April 21, with between 90,000 and 100,000 in traditional album sales. Sources say the album sold around 85,000 through the iTunes Store alone on April 21, the day the late musician died.

Prince’s sales are surging in part because of the limited access he has provided through streaming services. It's well known that the late musician wasn't a fan of how music was being distributed on the internet as it relates to artists receiving a fair share of royalties from digital sales.

As of now, the only place to access all of Prince's songs is TIDAL.
