President Obama poked fun at himself and his constituents at the annual White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner on Saturday night (April 28). Besides making light of the Secret Service scandal and the graying of his hair (you are getting old, POTUS!), he gave a shout-out to Atlanta rapper Young Jeezy.

We all know that Obama is a Jay-Z fan, but who knew that he was down with the Dirty South? During his speech, Obama mentioned the Snowman’s name as he listed some of the things he would do if he’s elected to a second term.

“In my first term I sang Al Green. In my second term, I’m going with Young Jeezy,” he joked before turning to First Lady Michelle Obama who smiled in agreement. “Michelle said, ‘Yeah,’ I sing that to her sometimes.” Surprisingly, attendees were wildly amused by the name drops.

Young Jeezy has been a major supporter of Obama every since he dropped the anthem ‘My President‘ (featuring Nas) during Obama’s presidential campaign in 2008. Jay-Z jumped on the ‘My President (DC Remix),’ which was released on Jan. 20, 2009, the day Obama was inaugurated into office.

Jeezy was so humbled by Obama’s gesture that he took to his Twitter to salute the POTUS:
