Popular ETX Off-Road Park Announces Closure
A popular Jacksonville park announced it has closed, permanently.
The owners of Mud Creek Off-Road Park posted the notice on their social media accounts Tuesday evening, stating that they are moving on after the recent loss of one of their own:
As some of you may know one of our Mud Creek family members passed away a few weeks ago. Due to this we have decided to close the park and move forward. We appreciate everyone who has made the park what is is today over the past 13 years and the people and friendships we have made over the years will never go away. Anyone who as reserved RV spots or cabins with a check or money will receive a full refund. Please send any questions to our facebook page. Thank ya’ll!
Loyal customers are responding with sadness for the closure as well as recalling fond memories of their visits to the popular park. Here are just a few:
According to another post from the Mud Creek, High Lifter Mud Nationals will move to another park, and the owners said to follow the Mud Nationals Events page on Facebook for more information.
