Yankees Pitcher Michael Pineda Suspended 10 Games By MLB

Hours after Michael Pineda was ejected for a foreign substance on his neck (pine tar), Major League Baseball suspended the New York Yankees pitcher for 10 games.

Pineda was also believed to have pine tar on his hand in his meeting with the Boston Red Sox on April 10 at Yankee Stadium in which he pitched seven innings and had seven strikeouts in a Yankees victory.
