Peyton Manning has had a dream season, but ran into a nightmare at the expense of his former team and employer Jim Irsay on Sunday night.

Behind young gun Andrew Luck, the Indianapolis Colts knocked off the No. 1-power ranked Denver Broncos, 39-33, in Manning's homecoming at Lucas Oil Field.

It was not a typical Peyton game, where he was picked off two times, sacked four times and took numerous hits from the Colts defense.

Colts owner Jim Irsay, who claimed that Manning was never the clutch performer in many of the big games in his Colts career, was proven right after a week of taunting the Broncos quarterback.

This could be a playoff rematch and I'm sure Manning is licking his chops for it to happen.
