Party! Party! Party!

National Night Out (NNO) Parties were a hit in Longview this year! I had a blast party hopping from neighborhood to neighborhood, eating good food, and conversing with the great folks in Longview.  My NNO Party tour, covered all quadrants of the city of Longview including: Women's Center of East Texas, Community Connections, CenterPoint Energy, Longview Housing Authorty, Marguerite St. Edition, and Divine Catering.  

The atmosphere was one of friendship, fellowship, and generousity as neighbors gathered over a meal to discuss ways to keep their neighborhoods safe. Food selections included everything from Butcher Shop burgers and hotdogs, to fried fish, grilled chicken and taco salad.  Needless to say, after party number three, I was stuffed and had to start taking to-go plates.

Abover all, it was great to see Longview Police representatives at all parties building relations and enjoying good comradery with the citizens of Longviwew. I, personally, can't wait for NNO 2017. I will be sure to work up a good appetite for the night!
