Old School Throwback of the Day: Tracie Spencer ‘Tender Kisses’

Do you remember this singer/songwriter/actress, Ms. Tracie Spencer? She began singing when she was just 5and if you remember she was introduced to the world when she sang the iconic Whitney Houston's 'How Will I Know' on Star Search in the late '80s. Capitol Records signed her after that performance, making her the youngest female artist to sign a record deal.

Tender Kisses reached #1 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles & Tracks which gave her the title of the youngest female artist to receive the ASCAP songwriter of the year award.

In recent years, Tracie has been busy singing backgrounds for artist like Kanye West, 50 Cent and Eve. At the present, she is taking a break from music and focusing on her modeling and acting career.
