Milli Vanilli was one of the hottest R&B/Pop acts to hit the States in 1989.

Unfortunately, scandal grew around after they received various awards including Grammy's when it came out they were lip syncing. This is very sad because now MOST singers are lip syncing and need assistance in creating their sound!
