The NFL season kicked off last Thursday with the Denver Broncos' victory over the Super Bowl-champion Baltimore Ravens, but teams many predicted to be in this year's Super Bowl are NOT No. 1 in the newly surveyed NFL Power rankings after Week 1.

The San Francisco 49ers (and current defending NFC champs) are ranked No. 1 going into Week 2 with an impressive win over Aaron Rodgers' Green Bay Packers, followed by NFC counterparts the Seattle Seahawks (who defeated the Carolina Panthers).

Peyton Manning's Denver Broncos hold down the third spot followed by the Atlanta Falcons (who lost to the New Orleans Saints) and a regular rounds off the top five power rankings -- the New England Patriots, who had a last-minute win over the youthful Buffalo Bills.

Keep it locked, because you never know if there be a shakeup in Week 2 of the NFL season.
