Learning about this story has me thinking I need to pay more attention to my surroundings. I walk Rose Rudman Trail in Tyler all the time, and I've seen some amazing gestures on and off the path. But I haven't seen this just yet.

KHOU reported Thursday about a mystery artist in Farmers Branch, Texas in Dallas-Fort Worth who is using a very unique tool to put smiles on people's faces.

Two massive hearts were created from fallen leaves - one with a giant cross in it. No one seems to have a problem with it, in fact, the neighborhood has welcomed it with some even saying they hope the mystery artist continues to come back and create more pieces.

"It’s crazy, it’s just wonderful," John Lloyd told WFAA. "About a week or week-and-a-half ago, someone snuck over there and made a couple of hearts and one of them has a cross in it," said the man who lives right by the park.

According to ABC News, even the city crews haven't raked up the leaves yet.

Just a small story that makes a small difference. But to me, making someone smile can play a huge role in making someone's day that much better.
