Missing Longview Man Found Dead; Two Arrested on Capital Murder Charges

Police investigators have located the body of a Longview man who went missing earlier this month.

The body of 27-year-old Ronnie Gammage was found Wednesday in a remote location in Upshur County.

Detectives said two of four people who were being questioned about Gammages disappearance led them to his body.

Charged with capital murder and aggravated kidnapping are 20-year-old Sarah Haslam, and 19-year-old Daniel Jones. Both are being held in the Gregg County Jail on Bonds totaling more than $1.3 million.

Last week police found Gammage’s pickup truck  in the Waffle House parking lot at 318 East Loop 281. Police say one of the truck’s tires had been slashed.

Gammage had been missing since December 8^th.
