It’s no secret that Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon, mother and father to Dem Babies, are really just kids at heart. Both of the entertainers cherish one another’s playful attitudes (did you see their Halloween costumes last year?!), so it’s really no surprise that Carey and Cannon have teamed up for a family-friendly project that both parents and kids can enjoy.

Cannon recently spoke to MTV News about a super-secret animated project that him and Carey are joining forces on. The ‘America’s Got Talent’ host is keeping most of the details under wraps for now, but apparently the creative cartoon collabo will pay tribute to Carey and Cannon’s twins, Moroccan (aka Roc) and Monroe (aka Roe).

“Yeah we actually got some stuff in development that we’re working on, some animated stuff that her and I are putting together,” Cannon said. “So you’ll definitely see her in that space too. Oh yeah, it’s just something that we both enjoy, and even more so than that, we’re both kids at heart. So we love those types of stories and fantasy/fairytale type of stuff.”

We’ll just have to wait and see what kind of crazy family fun Carey and Cannon have cooking.

In other news, it’s been a whirlwind of a year for Carey and Cannon so far. The couple have been celebrating their happy and healthy babies and recently renewed their wedding vows — but this happiness also comes with some sadness, as Carey’s sister was also diagnosed with cancer.
