Out with Jermaine Dupri and in with Kevin Liles.

That's what Billboard magazine reports, as Mariah Carey has fired the So So Def founder as her manager because of poor record sales.

Perhaps shockingly, the R&B singer's latest album 'Mariah... The Elusive Chanteuse' has only sold an underwhelming 103,000 copies since its May 27 release date, and she feels her manager is to blame.

However, Dupri feels differently and says things didn't work out, because he couldn't work the album like he usually does.

"I'm a very hands-on person when it comes to my work," he said in a statement. "I put my all into every project. But when I'm not allowed to do what I do, then I know it's time for me to move on. Mariah and I enjoy working together and will continue to make great music together in the future."

Since 2003, Carey's list of managers is as long as the title of her last album, and includes big names like Benny Media, who is currently Jennifer Lopez's manager, the late Chris Lighty and Randy Jackson of 'American Idol' fame.

We'll see if the very successful and well-respected Kevin Liles will give the singer's career the proper push it needs.
