After over a year away from the stage (and the birth of her twins), Mariah Carey returned to live performing Thursday night (March 1) with a brief, intimate gig at New York City’s Gotham Hall. Given that only 50 tickets were released to the public, chances are you weren’t in attendance — but thanks to the magic of the Web, you can watch her one-song set without even getting out of your chair.

Dubbed the Plot Your Escape concert, last night’s show was part of a series of events being held by Caesars Entertainment to celebrate their ‘Escape to Total Rewards’ promotion, what the company is calling “the next generation” of its Total Rewards loyalty program. Even with a one-song set, Mariah doesn’t come cheap; clearly, Caesars is pretty excited about this.

Mariah took the stage in typically resplendent fashion, fronting a full band with a one-shouldered black gown and delivering a performance of ‘Shake It Off,’ from her 2005 album ‘The Emancipation of Mimi.’ At just over four and a half minutes, it was all over a little too soon, but don’t feel bad for the people in attendance — the event was free, and they were also treated to an appearance from Diddy.
