Mariah Carey Bares Her Soul In New Memoir Coming In 2020
Mariah Carey is pretty busy these days with the release of her 25th Year anniversary of her Christmas album "Merry Christmas" she is also going to release a memoir of her life's journey.
According to Variety, the Mariah graced the cover of their Women of Power issue where she said this memoir will reflect on her personal life and the music industry.
She spoke on feminism and her life as a young artist married to Sony Music Chief Tony Mattola,
When you’re with someone 20-something years older than you, and you’re a female, the perception is always going to be this girl’s being taken care of. No, darling. And they made billions of dollars off my incessant work. I did nothing but make albums. And I don’t want to give you more than you need because I want to save some for my boo.
Mariah also spoke on how she is proud of the #MeToo movement where women shared their stories of abuse and her appreciation for Missy Elliott accomplishments this year even though she beat her for the Song Writers Hall of Fame.
Other honoree's include Awkwafina, Jennifer Aniston, Chaka Khan, Brie Larson, and Dana Walden.
Mariah's autobiography will be out late 2020.
