This weekend, the underfeated Denver Broncos will make a trip to Lucas Oil Field to face the Indianapolis Colts, but it's not a normal game. It's the first time Peyton Manning will play his former team since his exit in 2012.

Jim Irsay declined to resign Manning in an attempt to rebuild his team around No. 1 pick Andrew Luck, who guided the team to a 11-5 record in 2012 and a playoff appearance.

Irsay is now accusing Manning of not bringing home the hardware enough times during his tenure with the Colts.

"We've changed our model a little bit, because we wanted more than one of these," Irsay said, flicking up his right hand to show his Super Bowl XLI championship ring.

"(Tom) Brady never had consistent numbers, but he has three of these," Irsay adds. "Pittsburgh had two, the Giants had two, Baltimore had two and we had one. That leaves you frustrated.

"You make the playoffs 11 times, and you're out in the first round seven out of 11 times. You love to have the Star Wars numbers from Peyton and Marvin (Harrison) and Reggie (Wayne). Mostly, you love this."

The Showdown this week will feature the two quarterbacks and it's old school vs. new school. I've got my money on Peyton. How 'bout you?
