Magic Johnson is Out at ESPN

Basketball Hall of Famer and broadcaster Ervin "Magic" Johnson has stepped down his role as a commentator with ESPN's NBA Countdown after five season due to other commitments and time.

He has plenty on his plate as part owner of the Los Angeles Dodgers, his minor league team the Dayton Dragons, along with being the CEO of the Magic Johnson Foundation.

Johnson thought it was time. A replacement has not been named yet on countdown.
