The man who shot up Lil Wayne’s tour bus after an Atlanta show in April has pleaded guilty to the shooting.

Jimmy Winfrey, who was Young Thug’s former manager, pleaded guilty on Friday (Nov. 20) to six of the 27 counts of street gang terrorism and other charges in connection to the tour bus shooting.

Winfrey, also known as PeeWee Roscoe, was sentenced to 20 years in prison and will be eligible for parole in 10 years, according to the Atlanta-Journal Constitution. Winfrey has been held at the Cobb County jail in Georgia since his arrest.

According to prosecutors, the 25-year-old man was allegedly driving a white Camaro when he fired the shots into two of Weezy's tour buses, causing more than $20,000 worth of damage. About a dozen people were on the bus at the time of the shooting. Thankfully, no one was injured. It's unclear if Wayne was on either of the buses.

“This defendant is a member of the Bloods street gang,” Chief ADA Don Geary told the court. “We can prove he was in the Camaro. Whether he was alone, we don’t know. At any rate, he is a party to these crimes.”

Attorneys for Jimmy Winfrey had no comment on the matter.
