With less than a month to go before the 2011 BET Hip-Hop Awards are held in Atlanta, it’s finally time to reveal the list of this year’s nominees — and time for Lil Wayne to add another achievement to his ever-growing list.

The multi-platinum rapper, who recently broke the one-week sales record at iTunes and boasts the number one album in the country with ‘Tha Carter IV,’ now also owns the record for most BET nominations in a year with 18.

He’s nominated in the Lyricist of the Year, MVP of the Year and Hustler of the Year categories, among many others — but there was room for other hip-hop heavyweights on the list, including Kanye West and Wiz Khalifa, both of whom received nine nominations apiece. Rick Ross received eight.
