LeBron James is America’s Favorite Athlete

In an annual poll conducted by Harris Interactive of America's top athletes, LeBron James for the first time in his career has been named America's Favorite Athlete, passing up Michael Jordan.

It's noted that he has been the most polarizing NBA player in the post Jordan era and while leading the Miami Heat to four straight finals trips, America has watched his every move.

James announced last week he will return to the Cleveland Cavaliers (his home team )in an effort to bring the Cavs to postseason prominence.
