Kid Ink Signs RCA Records Deal

Kid Ink is officially a major label artist, inking a new deal with RCA Records.

The 'Time of Your Life' rapper tweeted, "RCA x Alumni," early Friday morning (Jan. 4) to officiate the deal. "Alumni" refers to his own record label, Tha Alumni Music Group. He released his independent album 'Up & Away' on the label last year.

In November, he debuted the mxitape 'Rocketshipshawty' and recently dropped the Devin Cruise-produced 'Bad Ass' featuring Wale and Meek Mill.

Ink was notably a part of XXL's annual Freshmen class of buzzy newcomers last year. He shared the honor with Iggy Azalea, French Montana and Machine Gun Kelly among others.
